Pastor John Gray transferred to Atlanta hospital for treatment

Relentless Church Pastor John Gray has been moved to a second hospital in Atlanta amid a health crisis involving a saddle pulmonary embolism, the church told The Greenville News Tuesday night.

His wife, Aventer Gray, first announced John Gray's initial hospitalization on social media on Sunday and updated her followers about his transfer from a hospital in Alabama to a facility in Atlanta on Tuesday.

She wrote that John Gray's blood clot in his leg was gone and that he was making improvements.

"Thank you God, still holding… If it’s not faith, I don’t want it. Life! That is all! God is not done. No premature death. Leg clot gone. Remaining lung clots dissipate and bow at the name of Jesus. All will stay in place because they have to obey the voice of the Lord," Aventer Gray wrote on Instagram.

Relentless Church spokesperson Anne Torres said in an email John Gray continues to be treated by a team of professionals in Atlanta while church services continue as planned.

"Pastor Aventer and the entire Relentless Church family are thankful for the abundance of well wishes and prayers for his safe and immediate recovery," Torres said. "Services will continue as planned and we will lift up the name of Jesus at this time. They continue to ask for privacy during their navigation of this time and remain appreciative of the outpouring of love and support."
