Buffalo Day of Hope and Healing
The Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships (Partnership Center) at the U.S Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. to invite the community to an event this weekend.
The Partnership Center will be hosting a “Day of Hope & Healing” for Buffalo, NY, at the Stanley Makowski School #99 on July 30th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and would love for your attendance and participation in this event! We are asking the community to join us for the opening ceremony as we stand together to remember the lives of those that were lost and celebrate children and families for a day of hope and healing.
There will be bookbag and school supply giveaways to high school and elementary students, wellness care resources, COVID testing and vaccine administration, food giveaway and other activities for youth and their families to engage in.
Our goal is to service and connect the Buffalo community and surrounding areas with the resources they need to propel them in a positive direction after the catastrophic events that have recently occurred in the area.
Thank you for your time and consideration in joining our efforts to uplift the Buffalo community!
